TRUE RELIGION

પ્રભુની પ્રતિકૃતિની પૂજા છે મારો પ્રભુ પરનો વિશ્વાસ,

 ધીમે -ધીમે વિશ્વાસ બન્યો મારો ધર્મ,

 ધર્માંધ કૃતિનું આચરણ છે ખોટો મારો દંભ,

 માનવસેવા એ જ પ્રભુસેવા એ સાચો મારો ધર્મ, 

 નિભાવું ફરજ ને કરું મારું કર્મ તે સાચો મારો ધર્મ.

 ભારત એક વિવિધતા ધરાવતો દેશ છે. આ વિવિધતાના દેશમાં જે એક અને અટલ તત્વ છે તેના પણ પોતપોતાના વિશ્વાસ પ્રમાણે વિવિધ નામો અપાયા છે. એટલે કે લોકો પોતાના વિશ્વાસ પ્રમાણે અલગ -અલગ ધર્મદેવતાની પૂજા કરે છે. આ એક ઈશ્વરરૂપ તત્વની લોકો પોતાના વિશ્વાસ મુજબ જુદા -જુદા પ્રભુના નામે પ્રતિકૃતિની પૂજા -અર્ચના કરે છે. પછી ધીમે -ધીમે આ ગાઢ વિશ્વાસ ધર્મના નામે ઓળખાય છે.

 ધર્મના નામે ધર્માંધ કૃતિનું આચરણ કરી આપણે ખોટા દંભી પણ બની જઈએ છીએ. જેમકે, શંકરદાદાના શિવલિંગ પર આપણે દૂધ ચઢાવીએ એ આપણી તેમના પરની શ્રદ્ધા છે. તેમના પર દૂધનો અભિષેક શાસ્ત્ર પૂરતું કરી બાકીના દૂધને કોઈ ગરીબ બાળકને શા માટે ના આપી શકીએ?, બાકીનું દૂધ જો તે ગરીબ બાળકને આપીશું તો કદાચ તે જીવમાં બેસેલ શિવ પણ રાજી થશે.અમુક મંદિરોમાં ભગવાનના વિ. આઈ. પી દર્શનનું આયોજન રાખવામાં આવે છે અને આપણે હોંશે -હોંશે જઈએ પણ છીએ. એટલી રકમ કોઈ ભુખ્યાને જમાડવામાં ખર્ચી હોય તો એ ઈશ્વર અવશ્ય રાજી થાય. આપણે આપણી આસ્થા માટે અવશ્ય ભગવાનના દર્શને જવુ જોઈએ પણ તેને ધર્મનું નામ આપી ધર્માંધ બની ખોટો દંભ ના આચરવો જોઈએ. મંદિરમાં જવાથી એક અલગ પ્રકારની શાંતિનો અહેસાસ થાય છે. કેમકે, તેની સાથે આપણી આસ્થા જોડાયેલી છે.ધર્મના નામે આપણે ભગવાનને પ્રલોભનો આપીએ છીએ ત્યારે એ વાત ના ભૂલવી જોઈએ કે જે આખી સૃષ્ટિનો નિર્માણકાર છે તેને આપણે શું આપી શકવાના?

 ઈશ્વર તો આ સૃષ્ટિના કણે -કણમાં બિરાજમાન છે. બસ તેને નીરખવાની આંતરદ્રષ્ટિ કેળવવી પડે. આપણા મન, વચન કે કર્મથી કોઇના અંતરાત્માને ઠેસ ના પહોંચે એ આપણો ધર્મ, જરૂરિયાતમંદોની ક્ષમતા મુજબની સેવા એ આપણો ધર્મ, પોતાની જાતને સંતોષ થાય એવું કર્મ કરવું એ આપણો ધર્મ, આપણા પરિવાર, સમાજ, દેશ અને દુનિયા પ્રત્યે આપણું કર્તવ્ય નિભાવવું તે આપણો ધર્મ, સમગ્ર જીવસૃષ્ટિનું કલ્યાણ ઇચ્છવું એ જ સાચો ધર્મ હોઈ શકે.

 ENGLISH TRANSLATION

Worship of the Lord's replica is my faith in the Lord,

 Gradually faith became my religion,

 The conduct of a fanatical act is wrong my hypocrisy,

Human service is service to the Lord is my true religion, 

Fulfilling duty, doing my deeds is my true religion.

 India is a diverse country.  The one and only indispensable element in this country of diversity has also been given different names according to their respective beliefs.  That is, people worship different deities according to their faith.  People of this one God-like element worship a replica in the name of different gods according to their faith.  Then gradually this close faith came to be known as religion.

 By practicing bigotry in the name of religion, we also become false hypocrites.  For example, offering milk on Shankardada's Shivling is our faith in him.  Why can't we give the rest of the milk to a poor child after fulfilling the anointing scripture of milk on them?  .In some temples the V.I.P Darshan is planned and we go to there with eagerly. If so much money is spent to satisfy a hungry person, then God must be pleased.  We must go to the Darshan of God for our faith but we should not become fanatics by giving the name of religion and do wrong hypocrisy.  Going to the temple brings a different kind of peace.  Because, our faith is connected with it. When we give temptations to God in the name of religion, we should not forget that what can we give to the one who

 is the creator of the whole creation?

 God is sitting in every particle of this creation.  You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people.  Our religion is not to hurt anyone's conscience with our mind, word or deed, our religion is to serve the needy according to our ability, to do self-satisfying deed is our religion, it is our duty to fulfill our duty towards our family, society, country and world,  The only true religion is to seek the welfare of all living beings.
