The youth of life

 શક્તિ એ જ જીવન છે,

દુર્બળતા તો મૃત્યુ છે.

આત્મશ્રદ્ધાથી આગળ વધતા રહેવું જ જીવન છે,

અહંકાર કેળવી હુંને પોષતા રહેવું તો મૃત્યુ છે.

કર્મ અને ફરજ નિભાવવા એ જ જીવન છે,

તેના તરફ બેધ્યાન બની બેસી રેહવું તો મૃત્યુ છે.

     

               તારીખ બાર જાન્યુઆરી શ્રી સ્વામી વિવેકાનંદજીનો  જન્મદિવસ, રાષ્ટ્રીય યુવા દિવસ છે. યુવા એટલે ઉંમરથી નહીં પણ,મનથી યુવાન, વિચારોથી યુવાન,કર્મથી યુવાન.પોતાનામાં રહેલી અખૂટ શક્તિને પારખી તેને સાચી દિશામાં આગળ વધારવી એ જ તો જીવનની સજાગતા છે.સંઘર્ષ, દુઃખ એ તો જીવનનું સત્ય છે, એ તો જીવનમાં રહેવાનું જ. સતત એવી નિર્બળતાના રોદળા રડ્યા કરવા એ તો મૃત્યુ સમાન જ છે.

         પોતાની જાત પ્રત્યે શ્રદ્ધા હોય તેને કોઈ મુશ્કેલી નથી નડતી. આત્મવિશ્વાસ એક પ્રેરકબળ છે. મને વિશ્વાસ છે કે ભગવાને મને આ કાર્ય કરવાની શક્તિ આપેલી છે તે હું કરી શકીશ, તે એક આત્મશ્રદ્ધા છે જે જીવનના શ્વાસોને  જીવંત બનાવે છે, જયારે, આ કાર્ય ફક્ત હું જ કરી શકીશ. મારા સિવાય આ કાર્ય થવું અશક્ય છે, હું છું તો જ બધું છે એવી ભ્રમણાં ધરાવતો માણસ પોતાના હું પણાના અહંકારને પોષે છે, આ શ્વાસો જીવન હોવા છતાં મૃત્યના શ્વાસો કહીં શકાય. કેમકે, અહંકારી માણસ અંદરથી કોરાતો હોય છે.

           પોતાના પરિવાર, સમાજ અને રાષ્ટ્રહિતના  કાર્યમાં પ્રયાસો કરવા એ એક પ્રગતિ જ છે જયારે મારે શું?, મને શું ફાયદો? એવી માનસિકતા ધરાવી સ્વાર્થી બનીએ તો મારે શું? એ હરીફરીને ક્યારે આપણી પાસે આવી જશે તેનો આપણને ખ્યાલ પણ નહીં રહે.

             

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

Power is life,

 Weakness is death.

 Moving forward with self-confidence is life,

 Cultivating ego and be selfish is death.

 To perform karma and duty is life,

 To remain inattentive to it is death.

 Date 12th January  is Shri Swami Vivekanandaji's birthday, National Youth Day.  Youth is not only from age but also from mind, young from thoughts, young from deeds. Recognizing the inexhaustible power in oneself and moving it in the right direction is the awareness of life. Struggle, sorrow is the truth of life, it is to live in life.  To weep over such weakness is death.

 Having faith in oneself has not  problem in life.  Confidence is a motivator.  I believe that God has given me the power to do this work, it is a self-confidence that makes the breaths of life alive, whereas, only I can do this work.  It is impossible for this to happen without me, a man who has the illusion that everything is only if I am, nurtures his ego, these breaths can be called the breaths of death despite being life.  For, the egoistic man is hollow from within.

 It is a progress to make efforts in the work of one's family, society and nation.What is the benefit to me?  What if I?become selfish with such a mindset, We have no idea when that rivalry will come to us.
