The jewel of India's Crown :Leh-Ladakh

 છે અખૂટ સૌંદર્ય પણ,

આબોહવાની અત્યંત વિષમતા છે.

છે ભારતના તાજનું રત્ન પણ,

દુશ્મનોના પ્રહારોથી સતત ઘેરાયેલું રહે છે.

છે અહીંના લોકો હૃદયથી પવિત્ર પણ,

રોજીરોટી માટે ઘણી મુશ્કેલી વેઠે છે.

કુદરત એટલે સુંદરતા, પવિત્રતા, શાંતિ. કુદરતી સૌંદર્ય જેને અખૂટ પ્રાપ્ત થયું છે તેવું સ્થળ એટલે લેહ-લદાખ. શું સુંદરતાની બક્ષિસ ભારતના તાજમાં છવાયેલી છે!ભારતના તાજનું રત્ન એટલે લેહ-લદાખ. આંખોમાં ભરતા આંખ થાકે જ નહીં. તાજગી અને અપ્રીતમ સૌંદર્ય મન ભરીને બસ માણ્યા જ કરીએ. આપણા અસ્તિત્વ સાથે સુંદરતાની પળોને પ્રતિબિંબમાં કંડારતા મન ધરાઈ જ નહીં. અહીંના લોકોના ચહેરા તેમની ભૌગોલિક પરિસ્થિતિ પ્રમાણે અલગ છે. પણ, તેમના હૃદય અત્યંત પવિત્ર. કુદરતના ખોળામાં જિંદગી જીવતા લોકો કુદરતની નજીક હોવાથી તેમનામાં માણસાઈ પણ જીવતી છે. બાકી અત્યારે કોણ કોનું છે? પરંતુ, અહીંના લોકો સ્વભાવે શાંત, ભોળા, હૃદયથી પવિત્ર, ઈમાનદાર અને મદદગાર છે.પણ, તેઓ રોજીરોટી માટે ઘણી મુશ્કેલી વેઠે છે. ભારતના અન્ય પ્રદેશો જયારે ગરમીથી ત્રાહિમામ હોય ત્યારે ત્યાં ઠંડી હોય છે અને ભારતના બાકીના પ્રદેશોમાં જયારે ઠંડી હોય ત્યારે ત્યાંના લોકો અત્યંત ઠંડીમાં દિવસો પસાર કરે છે, રોજિંદુ જીવન પણ હાડમારી સાથે વ્યતિત કરે છે. આબોહવાની વિષમતાથી તેમના શરીર ટેવાય જાય છે. ઉંચાઈ પરનો પ્રદેશ હોવાથી પ્રાણવાયુ ઓક્સિજનની અછત સાથે તેમનું શરીર અનુકૂલન સાધી લે છે.

            રોજબરોજના જીવનથી કંટાળેલો માણસ પ્રકૃતિના ખોળામાં શાંતિ અને વિસામો લેવા ત્યા જાય છે. મુસાફરી અને ભૌગોલિક પરિસ્થિતિ સાથે અનુકૂલન સાધતા થાકેલો માણસ શુદ્ધતાના શ્વાસો ભરી ઉર્જા મેળવીને પરત ફરે છે.

              સરહદનો વિસ્તાર હોવાથી ભારતના સૈનિકોને જોવા અને તેઓ કેવી પરિસ્થિતિમાં ત્યાં રહીને દેશની સેવા કરે છે તે જાણવા મળે છે. તેઓ તેમની ફરજ પર હોવાથી પ્રવાસીઓને મળી નથી શકતા. શિસ્તતા અને પ્રતિબદ્ધતા તેમના જીવનમાં વળાયેલી હોય છે.મને દિલથી ઈચ્છા હતી કે એક વખત કોઈ પણ દેશના વીર સૈનિક જોડે વાત કરવી, એ ઈચ્છા ભગવાનની મરજી હોવાથી પુરી થઈ અને સરસ યાદગીરી બની રહી લેહ-લદાખની.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

   There is infinite beauty but,

 The climate is extremely heterogeneous.

 It is the jewel of India's crown but,

 Constantly surrounded by enemy strikes.

 The people here are pure in heart but,

 There is a lot of trouble for earning bread.

 Nature means beauty, purity, peace.  Leh-Ladakh is a place which has attained inexhaustible natural beauty.  What a gift of beauty lies in the crown of India! The jewel of the crown of India is Leh-Ladakh.  The eye  fills in the beuty nd it never gets tired.  Let's just enjoy the freshness and unparalleled beauty.  The mind is not satisfied with reflecting the moments of beauty with our existence.  The faces of the people here differ according to their geographical location.  Also, their hearts are extremely Pure. People living in the depths of nature are close to nature, so humanity is also living in them. the people here are calm, pure in heart, honest and helpful. Where  Other regions of India are extremely hot, ladakh is cold.when and in the rest of India,  is cold, people spend their days in extreme cold, even daily life with hardship.  Their bodies get used to the heterogeneity of climate.  Being an altitude region, their body adapts to the lack of oxygen.

 A man who is bored with everyday life goes there to find peace and rest in the lap of nature.  The man who is tired of traveling and adapting to the geographical conditions returns with a breath of purity and energy.

 Being a border area, one gets to see the Indian soldiers and know the conditions under which they serve the country.  They cannot meet the tourists as they are on duty.  Discipline and commitment are ingrained in their life. I had a heartfelt wish to talk to a brave soldier of our country once, that wish was fulfilled by the will of God and became a great memory of Leh-Ladakh.
