Walking on the path of duty intuitively without the burden of duty

 ઝરણું વહેવા માટે ને,

પુષ્પ મહેકવા માટે સર્જાયા છે.

પંખીઓ કલરવ-ઉડવા ને,

પહાડો પોતાની અડગતા માટે સર્જાયા છે.

આકાશ છત્રછાયા ને,

ધરતી આશરો આપવા માટે સર્જાયા છે.

કોઈને પોતાના કર્તાપણાનો બોજ નથી,

માત્ર મનુષ્યને જ કર્તાપણાની ફરિયાદ છે.

સૃષ્ટિના તમામ જીવો અને પ્રકૃતિને પોત-પોતાનો સાહજિક ગુણ હોય છે. આ ગુણ જ તેની ઓળખાણ છે. ઝરણું ક્યારેય બંધિયાર કે સ્થિર ના રહી શકે. સતત વહેતા રહેવું એ ઝરણાની પ્રકૃતિ છે. પુષ્પ પગ નીચે કચડાઈ જાય છતાં, પોતાની સુગંધ પ્રસરાવે છે. પુષ્પ પોતાની સુગંધના બદલામાં કોઈ પણ જાતની અપેક્ષા નથી રાખતું.પંખીઓ પિંજરામાં પુરાવા નહીં પણ, આકાશમાં મુક્તપણે ઉડવા માટે સર્જાયા છે. મધુર કલરવ કરવા માટે તેને કોઈ પણ જાતનું વળતર નથી મળતું. ધરતીના મુગટ સમાન પર્વતોની સ્થિરતા અને અડગતા એ તેમની ઓળખાણ છે. વાતાવરણની અસ્થિરતા વચ્ચે પણ અડગ રહેવા માટે તે કોઈ પણ પ્રકારની પ્રશંસાની અપેક્ષા નથી રાખતા. વિશાળ અસીમ આકાશને વિશાળતા અને જીવ સૃષ્ટિને છત્રછાયા આપવાનો સાહજિક ગુણ મળ્યો છે. છત્રછાયા આપવા માટે તે કોઈ પણ જાતની કિંમત નથી વસુલતું. અખંડ આશરો આપતી ધરતી કોઈ પણ જાતનું ભાડુ નથી વસુલતી. હા, જયારે પ્રકૃતિના તત્વોને મનુષ્ય સ્વાર્થ વૃત્તિથી નુકસાન કરવાની ચરમ સીમા વટાવે, ત્યારે આ તત્વો પોતાનું રૌદ્ર રૂપ ધારણ કરતા હોય છે. નહીંતર, પ્રકૃતિનો સાહજિક સ્વભાવ સતત આપતા રહેવાનો છે. તેનામાં પોતે સતત આપતાં રહે છે એવો અભિમાન ભાવ સહેજ પણ નથી. કોઈ પણ જાતના વળતર, પ્રશંસા કે કંઈક મળવાની ભાવના વગર પોતાનું કર્તવ્ય નિભાવતા જાય છે. તેનામાં કર્તવ્ય નિભાવાનો બોજ કે ફરિયાદ નથી. પણ, સાહજિકતાથી પોતાનો આગવા ગુણને ગમતીલો કરતા જાય છે.

મનુષ્ય જો પોતાના જીવનમાં પ્રકૃતિનો સ્વભાવ ઉતારે તો, તેની રોજિંદી ફરિયાદો, મનનો બોજ અને ઉકળાટ બધુ શમી જાય. પોતે જે કાંઈ પણ કરે તેના બદલામાં તેની પ્રસંશા થાય, કાંઈ વળતર મળે એવી અપેક્ષા રાખવાના બદલે ઈશ્વરે તેને કાર્ય કરવાની શક્તિ, સમજણ અને આવડત આપ્યા છે તેવું વિચારી સહજતાથી કર્તવ્ય નિભાવે તો મનમાં કોઈ કર્તાપણાનો બોજ કે ફરિયાદ નહીં રહે. નિસ્વાર્થભાવે કર્તવ્ય નિભાવનાર પર પ્રકૃતિ આશીર્વાદ વરસાવતી રહે છે.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

stream to be created for flowing,

Flowers are created for smelling,

 Birds are created for chirping and flying,

Mountains are created for their own steadfastness.

 The sky is created for giving protection,

 Earth is created to provide shelter.

 No one is burdened by his own deeds,

 Only humans have complaints about being a doer.

All creatures and nature of creation have their own intuitive qualities.  This quality is their identity.  A spring can never be confined or stagnant.  It is the nature of a spring to flow continuously.  Even when the flower is crushed underfoot, it emits its fragrance.  A flower does not expect anything in return for its fragrance. Birds are created to fly freely in the sky, not bind up in a cage.  It does not get any kind of compensation for chirping sweetly.  The stability and steadfastness of the mountains crowning the earth is their identity.  It does not expect any kind of praise for standing firm even in the midst of the volatility of the environment.  The vast boundless sky has got the intuitive quality of  providing protectan for living creatures.  It does not charge any price for providing prorection.  A continuous sheltering land does not collect any rent.  Yes, when humans cross the extreme limit of harming the elements of nature with selfishness, then these elements assume their raudra form.  Otherwise, nature's instinct is to keep on giving.  There is not a little bit of pride in them that they constantly gives.  One goes about performing one's duty without any sense of reward, appreciation or anything getting.  They have no burden of duty or complaint.  But, instinctively, one tends to like one's superior qualities.

If a human being brings the qualities of nature into ones life, ones daily complaints, burden of mind and agitation will all subside.  Instead of expecting to be praised or rewarded for whatever one does, if one carries out ones duties with ease, thinking that God has given them the power, understanding and ability to act, there will be no burden or complaint in the mind. Nature continues to shower blessings on those who do their duty selflessly..
