A memorable souvenir for every stage of life

માર્ગની મજા લઈ જાણે તે ખરો પથિક,

કાંટાળો માર્ગ જોઈ ડરી જાય તે કાયર,

બધા માર્ગો ફૂલોથી શણગારેલા નથી હોતા,

મંઝિલ મેળવવી જ સફળતા નથી,

વાગેલા ઘાને ભુલાવી,

જાતને સંભાળી,

મોજથી ડગલાઓ માંડતા રહેવા,

એ જ ખરી સફળતા છે.

જીવનમાં સત્તા, સંપત્તિ, હોદ્દો કે પદ મેળવવો જ સફળતા નથી. આ બધું મેળવી લીધું હોય છતાં જીવનમાં કોઈક અભાવ નડતો હોય છે. આ અભાવ, અતૃપ્ત મન જીવનને શાંત નથી થવા દેતું. શાંત એટલે જે શ્વાસો ભરીએ તે જીવંત અવસ્થામાં, જાગ્રત થઈને ભરીએ અને કોઈ પણ ફરિયાદ વગર સાક્ષી ભાવે જીવનના રંગોને માણીએ. માણસ સત્તા, સંપત્તિ, નામના, પદ, હોદ્દો મેળવવા સતત દોટ મુકતો જ રહે છે. અને આ બધું કદાચ મળી પણ જાય છતાં તે સંતોષથી નથી જીવી શકતો. કારણ, આ બધું મેળવવાની દોટમાં તેની પાસે જે હતું, તે છૂટતું જતું હતું. એટલે બધું મળી જાય તો છૂટી ગયેલાનો વસવસો રહે છે. જીવનમાં બધું મેળવવું જરૂરી જ છે અને મેળવવું પણ જોઈએ જ. પણ, એ મેળવવાની જે સફર છે તેનું પણ એક યાદગાર સંભારણું હોવું જોઈએ. 

 જો સફરનું સંભારણું સારૂ હોય તો કદાચ જીવનમાં સત્તા, સંપત્તિ, હોદ્દો આ બધું ના મળે તો પણ મન તૃપ્ત રહે છે. નિષ્ઠાભેર કાર્ય, શ્વાસમાં આ અમુલ્ય જીવનની જાગ્રત મને લીધેલી મોજ, પ્રામાણિકપણે નિભાવેલી ફરજો જ જીવનને અદ્રશ્ય રીતે સંતોષ આપે છે. પણ, દોડવામાં આપણે આ બધું પાછળ મુકતા જઈએ છીએ. એટલે જ કદાચ ભૌતિક રીતે આપણે બધું મેળવી લઈએ તો પણ અશાંત મન હોવાથી  તેને જીવનની ખરી સફળતા ના કહેવાય.

જીવનના બધા માર્ગો સલામત અને સરળ નથી હોતા. માણસનું સર્જન જ મુશ્કેલ માર્ગે ચાલવા થયેલું છે. પણ, આરામદાયક સ્થિતિના વર્તુળની બહાર ના નીકળતો માણસ આ મજબૂત મનની શક્તિને ધીમે-ધીમે ગુમાવી દે છે. જો તે વર્તુળની બહાર એક કદમ માંડવાની હિંમત દેખાડે અને પડતા-આખડતા આગળ વધતો જાય, લાગેલા જખમને ભુલાવીને જાતને સંભાળીને એક પછી એક પગલું માંડતો જાય તો ઈશ્વરે કરેલું માણસનું સર્જન સાર્થક લેખાશે. 

કોઈને શારીરિક, તો કોઈને માનસિક, તો કોઈને આર્થિક, તો કોઈને સામાજિક, તો કોઈને સંબંધોની ગુંચવાણ હોય છે. આ ગૂંચને ઉકેલતી આપણી મન:સ્થિતિ અને આપણું વલણ જ જીવનની સફળતા કે નિષ્ફળતા નક્કી કરે છે. 

ઈશ્વરે જયારે સર્જન કર્યું ત્યારે માટીમાં સાહસને પણ નાખ્યું જ છે, પણ આપણે તેને ક્યાંક ઓગાળી નાખ્યું છે. આપણી માટીમાં રહેલા સાહસના બીજને ઓળખીને તેને જાતને આગળ વધારવામાં, જાતને સાંભળવામાં  ઉછેર કરશું, તો આ સાહસ નામનું બીજ પણ આપણી અંદર મોટુ થતું જશે ને ઈશ્વરે કરેલું સર્જન સાર્થક લેખાશે.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

Enjoying the road as if it were a true journey,

 A coward who is afraid of a thorny path,

 Not all paths are decorated with flowers,

 Getting to the destination is not the only success.

 forget the wounds

 take care of yourself,

 To step with joy,

 That is true success.

Gaining power, wealth, position or rank is not the only success in life.  Despite getting all this, there is something missing in life.  This lacking, insatiable mind does not allow life to be calm.  Calmness means taking the breaths  in a living state, awake and witnessing the colors of life without any complaint.  Man is constantly running to get power, wealth, name, position. And even if he gets all this, he cannot live contentedly.  Because, in the rush to get it all, what one was getting loose.  Therefore, if everything is found, there remains the feeling of being left out. Getting everything in life is necessary and should be try to earn.  But, the journey to get it should also be a memorable souvenir.

If the memory of the trip is good, then even if you do not get power, wealth, position in life, the mind remains satisfied.  Sincere work, the joy from being aware of this precious life in the breath, the duties honestly performed are what give life invisible satisfaction.  But, in running we leave all this behind.  That is why even if we get everything materially, it cannot be called true success in life because of a restless mind.

Not all paths in life are safe and easy.  Man's creation is meant to walk a difficult path.  But, a man who does not step out of the circle of comfortable position gradually loses this strong mind power.  If he dares to take a step outside the circle and goes on stumbling forward, forgetting the wounds and taking self one step at a time, God's creation of man will be worthwhile.

Some are physical, some are mental, some are financial, some are social, some have relationship problems.  It is our state of mind and our attitude that resolves this tangle that determines the success or failure of life.

God has also put adventure in the soil when god created us, but we have dissolved it somewhere.  If we recognize the seed of adventure in our soil and nurture it to advanced

ourselves, to listen to ourselves, then this seed named adventure will also grow inside us and the creation made by God will be meaningful.
